As a professional dog therapist and trainer, I have trained hundreds of dogs (and owners) to help their dogs become happy, healthy and a well balanced part of the family. Over the years, I found that although owners love spending time with their dogs, sometimes they didn’t have the time to walk or exercise their pets on a daily basis, or have a place like home for their dog to stay while they were away. That’s how Commander K9 was born. We take dogs very seriously, and safety is number one with us. All dogs we tend to must have up to date shots, and unless they are puppies, must be spayed or neutered. No aggressive dogs allowed. We do an in home consult for our walking clients, and insist on a pre-visit to the Commander K9 house for our overnight guests. We do a thorough screening of all dogs before we take them on as clients to make sure they fit with the rest of our “pack”. We are bonded, insured, licensed and trained in dog first aid.
